Akwi Nji is a multidisciplinary artist exploring identity, belonging, and the human experience through bold texture and vibrant storytelling. She’s also our neighbor in the Cherry Building, so when she welcomed us into her studio, we knew something special was coming.

Our goal: capture the art in context. In-progress pieces, layered details, and the energy of her space. From quiet reflection to grand scale, every shot was meant to honor her voice and process.
